It doesn't matter if it is raining or it is sunny!, you can ride in Punta Venado Bike Park the whole year. Rain or sun, you will have a lot of fun.
The weather in the area allows us to be open the whole year. We just need to be aware at the Hurricane season in the Caribbean that begins June 1st and ends November 30th. so we have to be watching any hurricane warning
Riders need to be out of trails at the most at 5:00pm, because inside the jungle it gets really dark, and because we have a lot of native wildlife

Punta Venado has a tropical savannah climate (type Aw according to the Köppen climate classification). Daytime temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius all year round; night time temperatures are 22 degrees Celsius. During the winter it is slightly colder, during the summer slightly warmer. Summers are also wetter and muggier than winters. This makes it an ideal winter sun destination.
During the summer rainfall mostly consists of heavy showers that disappear as quickly as they appear. However, several days with bleak weather in a row may occur during a tropical depression. From June till November there is a risk of tropical storms and hurricanes. The risk is highest from August till October.
During the dry period a northerly wind blows which may cause a cold feel during the evening. During the day this wind is very pleasant because it makes things feel less muggy. The influence of this wind is strongest in January and February.
